Yvonne Wake

Yvonne is a registered public health nutritionist, fitness expert, life coach, and a Wellbeing and Lifestyle consultant with over 40 years experience.

Yvonne is married with three grown up children and lives and works between France and London. Yvonne is an avid exerciser who regularly practices Yoga, Pilates, Swimming and Walking, all of which keeps her energised and full of life.

Yvonne was a university lecturer in London for 8 years before concentrating on running Health Retreats in SW France, as well as South Africa, and parts of the UK and Scotland. She also runs a successful Wellbeing and Lifestyle consultancy in London that incorporates 3 main programmes for anyone wishing to change their lifestyle. Yvonne has seen much success working with whole families as well as individuals and has seen continued success with her weight loss programme ‘The B’ as well as her Recipe’s for Life and for Health.

Yvonne’s early career included the ownership of The Gym at The Sanctuary in London’s Covent Garden; the first ladies only health club in the world, back in the early 1980’s, followed by The Phillimore Club in Kensington.

A motivational speaker on health and wellbeing, Yvonne also writes for various periodicals and is seen as a health expert within the media, regularly speaking on public radio, and within health and fitness articles in the press. Her mindfulness approach is something that makes a difference to the clients she works with.

Yvonne is known within the academic arena as a childhood obesity expert based on 4 years of research for a PhD in this subject and has seen some academic success in her published work.

Yvonne believes that healthy eating is not just about losing weight, but is necessary to look after your body, your mind, your organs, your bones, and of course to give you that boost of confidence to look and be the best you can at all times.
